ImageReport Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 August 2026
ImageReport ("ImageReport", the "App") is developed and operated by David Reed, an independent developer.
Your privacy is important. ImageReport has been designed to allow you to create professional photographic reports while keeping your information and report data on your device.
This Privacy Policy explains what information ImageReport uses, how that information is handled, and the choices available to you.
1. Information ImageReport Uses
ImageReport allows you to enter information for use within the App and the reports you create.
Depending on how you use ImageReport, this may include:
Your name and position
Email address and telephone number
Company name and company details
Office address and location
Project names and addresses
Client information
Project locations
Photographs
Items, descriptions, notes and annotations
Other information you choose to include within a report
This information is stored locally on your device.
ImageReport does not transmit this information to the developer or store it on servers operated by ImageReport.
2. Photos and Camera
ImageReport allows you to take photographs using your device's camera and use photographs as part of your reports.
Photographs used within ImageReport are processed and stored locally on your device.
ImageReport does not upload your photographs to our servers or any external image-processing service.
Where you choose to save or select photographs using your device's Photo Library, access is controlled through Apple's permission system.
You can change ImageReport's access to your camera and Photo Library at any time through your device's Settings.
3. Location Information
ImageReport can use location information to assist you in identifying locations associated with your company/office and individual projects.
When you choose to use your current location, ImageReport may request access to your device's location services.
Location information may then be stored locally as part of your company, project or report information.
ImageReport:
Does not continuously track your location.
Does not use your location for advertising or analytics.
Does not transmit your location to the developer.
Does not sell or share your location information.
Access to location services is controlled by your device, and you can change or withdraw this permission at any time through your device's Settings.
4. Personal Details
ImageReport allows you to enter personal and business information for use within the App and your generated reports.
This may include your name, position, company information, telephone number, email address and other information you choose to provide.
These details are stored locally on your device and are used to personalise information appearing within your reports.
ImageReport does not transmit these details to the developer.
5. Reports and PDF Documents
PDF reports generated by ImageReport are created locally on your device.
Reports may contain information that you have entered into ImageReport, including photographs, annotations, Item information, project details, locations, company information and personal details.
ImageReport allows you to export or share reports using the sharing options available on your device.
ImageReport does not automatically send your reports anywhere.
When you choose to share or export a report, you control where that report is sent. If you choose to share information with another person, application or third-party service, the subsequent handling of that information is subject to the privacy practices of the recipient or service you selected.
6. Data Storage
ImageReport stores its application data locally on your device.
ImageReport does not operate a cloud-based account or server-based storage system for your reports and does not use iCloud or CloudKit to synchronise ImageReport report data between your devices.
Because your information is stored locally, you are responsible for retaining copies of reports or information you wish to keep.
Deleting information from ImageReport or deleting ImageReport from your device may permanently remove locally stored information unless you have separately exported, shared or backed up that information.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Information entered into ImageReport remains locally on your device until you edit or delete it, delete the relevant report or data, or remove the App and its locally stored data from your device.
Because ImageReport does not receive or maintain your locally stored report information on its own servers, the developer does not hold a server-side copy of that information to delete on your behalf.
Where deletion functionality is available within ImageReport, you can use it to remove the relevant locally stored information.
You can also remove ImageReport and its locally stored application data from your device using Apple's standard app deletion functionality.
8. Accounts
ImageReport does not require you to create an account or sign in to use the App.
ImageReport therefore does not collect usernames, passwords or other account login credentials.
9. Analytics and Crash Reporting
ImageReport does not use third-party analytics or crash-reporting services.
ImageReport does not integrate services such as Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics or Sentry to monitor your use of the App.
Your Apple device may separately provide diagnostic or analytics information to Apple depending on the privacy and analytics settings you have chosen with Apple. This is controlled by Apple and your device settings, not ImageReport.
10. Advertising and Tracking
ImageReport does not contain third-party advertising.
ImageReport does not track you across other applications or websites for advertising purposes.
We do not sell your personal information or report information to advertisers, data brokers or other third parties.
11. Artificial Intelligence
ImageReport does not send your photographs, reports, personal information, annotations or other content to artificial intelligence services for processing.
No ImageReport report content is used by the developer to train artificial intelligence models.
12. Third-Party Services
ImageReport does not transmit your report information to third-party services on behalf of the developer.
However, when you deliberately choose to share or export content, Apple's standard sharing functionality may allow you to send that content to other applications, people or services available on your device.
You are responsible for selecting the recipient or service when sharing information.
The subsequent use of information by a third-party service is governed by that service's own privacy policy and terms.
13. Your Privacy Choices
You control the information you enter into ImageReport and the permissions you grant to the App.
Through ImageReport and your device's Settings, you can:
Edit or delete locally stored information where those options are provided.
Delete reports you no longer require.
Control access to your camera.
Control access to your Photo Library.
Control access to location services.
Choose whether and with whom you share generated reports.
Delete ImageReport and its locally stored data from your device.
Apple's operating systems require applications to request permission before accessing certain protected information and resources.
14. Data Security
ImageReport has been designed to minimise the transmission of personal information by processing and storing application data locally on your device.
The security of locally stored information also depends upon the security of your device.
We recommend using the security features provided by Apple, including a device passcode, Face ID or Touch ID where available, and keeping your device software up to date.
15. Children's Privacy
ImageReport does not operate user accounts or collect and maintain users' personal or report information on servers operated by the developer.
Information entered into ImageReport remains locally on the device as described in this Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if ImageReport's features or data-handling practices change.
Any updated version will be published on the ImageReport website, and the date at the top of this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
If a future version of ImageReport introduces functionality that changes how user information is handled, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect those changes.
